Michigan Central Station - Detroit, MI
Opened years before the end of WWI, Michigan's Central Station enjoyed a storied history for the bulk of the 20th century. As part of a renovation effort spearheaded by the Ford Motor Company, the station is scheduled to enjoy another life as a business campus.
Amalio Corp. was delighted to have a role in the renovation and repurposing of Michigan Central Station—a symbol of Detroit's industrial triumphs, trials, and tribulations. With historic preservation in mind, Amalio was brought in to shatter and scour the existing slab before moving on to repouring.
We've also been deeply honored to work in other pouring, renovation, and restoration projects with the University of Michigan, further contributing to Detroit's and Michigan's legacy of pride.
